HOW:

Tips provided to achieve good PETG Printing:

1. Preferred Printing temperature is 230-250C and hot bed temperature is 60-90C.

2. If has printing difficulty, turn off cooling fan and print at slow printing speed between 20-35mm/s. Bowden feeding is totally all right.

3. Good first layer: minimize the gap between nozzle tip and hot bed as closely as possible and print on masking tape/ PEI sheet/glass bed with PVC glue/slurry/har spray or other feasible agent.

INTRODUCTION:

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol-modified) offers the best of both ABS and PLA for a win-win alternative to choosing one or the other. PETG plastic offers stiff, durable strength (like ABS) and ease of use (like PLA)—no heating bed needed. It’s also appreciated for its easy bed adhesion and glossy type finish for impressive final results.
