PolyMide™ PA12-CF is a carbon fiber reinforced Nylon 12 filament. The main advantage of Nylon 12 over Nylon 6 filaments is its low moisture sensitivity. This improves the handling, storing and printing capabilities while still offering superior mechanical properties compared to other filaments.

Description
Polymide PA12-CF is a carbon fibre reinforced PA12 filament (nylon).
Thanks to the low moisture sensitivity of PA12, this product is characterised by excellent mechanical and thermal properties.
Fibre Adhesion Technology
Fibre Adhesion technology significantly improves the strength of the Z-axis by engineering the surface chemistry of the fibres to achieve a strong fibre / matrix bond. In contrast to conventional fibre-reinforced filaments, which have a considerable reduction in the Z-axis strength, PolyMide PA12-CF offers higher interlayer adhesion compared to unreinforced PA 12.
Warp Free Technology
Warp-Free technology enables the production of Polymaker nylon filaments that can be printed with excellent dimensional stability and almost no deformation. This is achieved by fine-tuning the microstructure and crystallisation behaviour of nylon, which allows the material to completely relieve internal stress before solidifying.
Application
The combination of easy printability with warp-free technology makes this product ideal for making production tools.

PolyMide™ PA612-CF exhibits enhanced rigidity and strength in wet conditions compared to PolyMide™ PA6-CF, owing to its longer chemical chain. While both materials do absorb moisture, PA612-CF demonstrates minimal reduction in mechanical properties, resulting in superior overall performance in wet environments when compared to PA6-CF.
